Quality Management Specialist

Purpose & key responsibilities of the role

Purpose of the Job:
The Quality Management (QM) Specialist, working closely with the QC and Lab Team, plays a vital role in maintaining product quality and documentation systems. This position contributes to accurate fiber bale classification, compliance with ISO 9001 requirements, system development support, and adherence to safety protocols. Responsibilities include investigation and root cause analysis of quality incidents, process reviews, report creation, internal audits, identifying improvement areas, and developing training content.

Key responsibilities:
1. Fiber Quality Data Management
Assist in collecting and verifying fiber quality data within the SAP system.
Support in analyzing and grading fiber bales as directed.
2. Issue Resolution
Identify and address unexpected conditions with fiber bales under senior team guidance.
Support non-conformity and root cause analyses.
Collaborate in decision-making processes regarding fiber bale blocking or release.
3. Document Control
Maintain documentation and records in compliance with ISO 9001 requirements.
Develop the management system in Lenzing Connect.
Design presentations, spreadsheets, and assist in general office tasks.
Ensure timely update and communication of work instructions.

Our expectations for this exciting role

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or closely related fields.
  • 5 to 10 years of work experience.
  • Advanced experience with Quality Management (QM) systems and MS Office.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP or similar systems.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards or document control preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal), Level B2 proficiency.
